So you’ve stumbled upon my about me page. I apologize in advance. If you read this until the end it is probably 4 minutes of your life you won’t get back. So while you’re 3 seconds into this I say RUN!

I see you’ve decided to read on, and for that I commend you dear reader. Hello there! I guess I haven’t properly introduced myself. The name’s Olivia and I will be turning 20 this year. Don’t know how my age is relevant but people like knowing how old other people are so I thought I’d tell you.

Some basic facts you need to know about me would probably be that I’m half-Chinese and half-Indian, and I also have some English heritage somewhere. (my great-great-grandmother was English) I love being of mixed-heritage and people sometimes refer to people like me as “chindian” which I also like.

Let’s see what else is there.. Oh! I’m currently a pharmacy student at what I think is the university with one of the most beautiful campuses in the world; The University of Nottingham!

Did I mention that I’m from Malaysia?

What’s it like being 12 000 miles away from home you say? Amazing! This is the blog where I post about how amazing or sometimes how it’s not so amazing it is.

So if you couldn’t already tell, I love to talk and write. (basically anything that lets me express myself). I also love photography. What I mean is, I have an appreciation for the art. (I take dreadful photos with the occasional serendipitous shot)

I also love music. Some of the music I love are by The Script, Death Cab for Cutie, Coldplay, Milo Greene, Snow Patrol, Joshua Radin and my current obsession, the Lumineers. Ocasionally I listen to Disney soundtracks (don’t judge me, you know they were are fucking amazing)

I also absolutely LOVE reading. News, articles, books, you name it. My favourite authors are probably John Green, J.K. Rowling (don’t even get me started on Harry Potter) and Dan Brown.

Well.. This has turned into a “What I Like” instead of an “About Me”. Sorry. Told you I like to ramble on! I think I’m generally easy-going, funny (or at least I try to be, people laugh at my jokes, _sometimes), I love animals and traveling and adventures. I also like experimenting with food, like different food combinations as well as exotic meat. (nothing endangered or dogs!) If you asked my friends to describe me they’d probably tell you I’m loud, friendly, crazy. (wow, I sound slightly psychotic) I don’t blame them, it is partially true. My worst/best habit is probably that I laugh too much. I guess you can probably figure that one out.

I can tell I’ll like you if you have made it this far and I hope that’s enough about me in my monologue.
