So it has been a pretty busy day. Breakfast was super early today at 7am cause we had to move out of our temporary halls before 9am. However, I only got to move in to my room in Willoughby Hall at 1pm! I guess the rooms needed a massive cleaning because of the previous students?

Anyway, I was so happy when I go to my room and finally start unpacking. (I’ve been living out of a suitcase for the past week.) The first thing I sorted out was the bed, the hall was so nice to provide international students when bedding packs! This included a duvet, duvet cover, pillow, pillow case and sheet. It’s not great, but hey it’s better than having no sheets!

Next was the fridge, I wasn’t planning on doing anything, I just wanted to check if it worked. Good God, when I opened that thing it smelled like garbage! Turns out someone had left some kind of gunk which I had to clean out. Luckily the smell is pretty much gone now!

Anyway after that I unpacked everything else, which was mostly clothes cause my suitcase with my other things are only arriving tomorrow. So there will be a round #2 of unpacking!  Oh and I’m excited to meet my new roommate as well.

p/s: I must comment on how sweet the wifi in Willoughby is!
